Telling your family and friends what you are doing and why, will help you gain their support.  If they know you’re trying to lose weight, they can offer their support and encouragement.

Being overweight is not a joke. Try to maintain a healthy weight or, if you are overweight, try to lose the excess weight you’re carrying.  Stay motivated and take pride in yourself no matter how much you weigh.
